Web Hosting
I just bought a hosting plan from lunarpages.com. I can’t believe how unstable their server was. I installed vBulletin on their server (for my newest website). But when I was in installation progress, suddenly I couldn’t access anything, not even the FTP access. I thought it was because of my internet connection but I was able to connect to the other websites. So I came into conclusion the one who was having error was Lunar Pages server itself.
It was so crazy they had the problem for 30 minutes. I’ve never worked with this kind of annoying web hosting before. Lunar pages obviously gave me a lesson why I should blacklist them from my web hosting list.
*PS: I always use different web hosting service every time I create a new website. With this method, I know which one works better than others. As for now, I still believe Liquidweb is the best web hosting company because they provide 24/7 email support (blazing fast responses!) and very stable server.

Welcome to the world where work ethic is not needed anymore. No, I’m not talking bullshit. This is true. As an internet marketer, I’ve seen too many examples. Have you ever seen one site 100% copied another website and only twisted the texts to manipulate Google duplicate content issues? Well, as I said earlier, I’ve seen too many examples.
The easiest way for lowlife spammers is to find one affiliate/small e-commerce website which is on the top of their targeted keywords. For example, you want to be on the top of “diet”? Then go type “diet” on Google and click the first position there. Copy it completely, twist the texts to avoid dupe issue, and check its backlinks through Yahoo Site Explorer or whatever you want to use. Then copy his backlink techniques as well.
This is a common practice nowadays. Of course I have never done such a terrible thing but I know several people who copied my successful affiliate sites like this. I even talked with one of them and I mocked him in Windows Live Messenger. It’s fun you know to make them feel shame of what they did to your websites
(although it won’t help. These lowlife spammers will always try to go for it).
These stupid search engine optimizers (to be honest) are people without work ethic. They only think of money. They know I make money, they know the other successful SEO sites also make money, and they thought by copying the original sites, they would be at the top of Google one day. What ridiculous is, they are also targeting the same keywords. This is why in my earlier post I was wondering when Google can eliminate these shits?

Search Engine Optimization is getting ugly, don’t you think? More and more people have joined the competition and they keep spamming Google by creating new websites every month. They create new sites for their own cross-linking benefits and also to do 4 or 5 ways in-content link exchange with their partners.
They also buy paid links to increase their websites’ visibility on Google natural listings. Even their domain names obviously are targeting the keywords. Websites like weightlosspills.net (targeting “weight loss pills”) and freedatingusa.com (targeting “free dating”) are just two examples.
Google themselves keep slapping affiliate and MFA sites in adwords. Because of that reason plus the financial crisis era, now lots of people have switched their main marketing campaign from adwords to search engine optimization. I also don’t really like adwords so I understand if people prefer to do SEO than to pay $0.5 per visitor. If we can get more traffic with smaller investments, why not?
However, I want to talk about how Google never stopped these spamming people. What they (Google) want actually is simple, they want every website that comes out at the top of the natural listing is the one who provides best information. But you can see now in high-traffic keywords there are lots of affiliate, MFA, and small e-commerce websites. I mean small websites which look extremely similar to affiliate websites but they don’t sell affiliate stuffs (they sell their own stuffs).
The question is, how many months left (or years) before Google finally improve their algorithm and beat these MFA and affiliate websites? We all have seen the new Google feature, SearchWiki. If you login into your Gmail account and type something inside Google search field, you’ll see UP and X buttons everywhere. I still believe this SearchWiki feature has not yet affected Google SERPs in general (I mean, for people who do not login). But later, it might be.
Search engine optimizers have been trying so hard to be on the top of Google natural listings. They create new sites, they do 4 or 5 ways in-content link exchange with their link partners, they also buy paid links, and now they are on the top of their targeted keywords.
They even never really updated their websites’ content. They only update it once per week or even per two weeks to ping Google. To be honest, these kinds of websites are rubbish. They only want to sell their stuffs and Google gives them what they want. Sometimes it amazed me these websites have better rankings than Wikipedia in some keywords.
I know one day Google will improve their algorithm a lot and it’ll decrease this kind of spamming. But when?

Hi, this blog is quite new so it’s normal if I receive very few visitors. However, I think it’ll be also very normal if within one year later from now I still receive very few traffic. The reason is simple, because I won’t market this blog. I’m busy with my marketing attempts for my business websites and also for the development of Hymoo. Therefore, I won’t spend too much time in my personal blog here. I will update it when I want to talk about something but I won’t market it.
I will only show my blog’s URL on facebook, twitter, and (later) Hymoo. I think I’m not interested to market my blog. But who knows

Well, since the first time I knew internet, I’ve met various of people from different countries. From United States, from Hong Kong, from India, from Europe, from Australia, from Malaysia, from Singapore, from Indonesia, etc. Every person has different personality. Some of them are totally rubbish while the others never respond while you try to reach them (like for example through Windows Live Messenger).
However, I know several people which I really respect. I trust these people 90-95% because they are very helpful. Here’s the list:
1. Peter from Clickbooth - He’s my affiliate manager at Clickbooth. I still chat with him although I’ve been thinking to leave my affiliate websites to run my bigger and more stable websites (Hymoo is one example). Even if I chat politic and other stuffs with him, he always responded to me. He was also trying to help me when Paypal account review department suddenly froze my account (read here). I ever said some bad words to him in the past and I still regret it until today. What a nice guy. Extremely rare.
2. Nikhil Jain - A nice guy from India. Despite my relationship with him is pure business but he’s a nice guy. You can ask him about internet marketing stuffs any time. He’s a true professional although lately he’s not active in Windows Live Messenger. He’s also selling his service and I recommend you to try it.
3. Sunita Biddu - Another nice person from India. Cheap but professional service. She also works at rapid pace.
*Well the other internet people I know are just normal people. They don’t really respond, they don’t really trust me, and so do I to them. Of course this above list doesn’t include Amro, Thijs, Judith, Monique, and Jim. They are part of my team so I don’t put their name here. I also trust them 99%.

Paypal Singapore Account Review Department Sucks…
This is one of my worst experiences and actually I do not want to remember it anymore. But I think this story could be useful if I share it with you. And no…I’m not kidding. I do not like them because they ever limited my account access. You know the reason? Simply because I made “too much money” as an affiliate. The two companies that I told to send money into my paypal account were Clickbooth and Rocketprofit.
Earlier, I always told Clickbooth and RocketProfit to send my biweekly earnings via wire transfer (direct deposit). Then one day I needed to pay some freelancers’ services with my paypal. However, as an Indonesian, I cannot upload funds from my bank account into my paypal account. My credit card itself was being limited by my bank so I couldn’t freely use it (max. usage was $1K per month).
So I thought I could just pay all of them by telling Clickbooth and Rocketprofit to send the next payment into my paypal account. Then came the bad asses soon after Clickbooth sent the biweekly payment into my paypal account. Paypal account review department suddenly limited my account access. It was written I can’t withdraw any cent nor send any payment but I can upload fund from my credit card into my paypal balance. What a joke!
Then they wanted me to proof my supplier info. These imbeciles thought I was selling some drugs and received huge amount of cash for that reason? Of course I didn’t accept this accusation. I kept sending them numerous of emails to explain that those transaction IDs were only affiliate earnings. I even already called them two times to explain it but they still ignored all of my messages, both from the phone call and from the email.
They kept forcing me to send a picture file of transaction bill for those transaction IDs. No matter how many times I told them these were affiliate earnings, they still believed I sold something fraud. Nothing worked at that time until the affiliate companies themselves called Paypal customer support (I told clickbooth and rocketprofit to help me, I told them my paypal case ID).
They finally reopened my account and now everything is as fine as heaven. However, this thing showed me how suck Paypal Singapore Account Review Department is.
